Introducing the Alumni of the University of Tampere

The University of Tampere Alumni is a registered association for all those who have studied or worked at the University of Tampere over the years. Together with the teaching staff and today's students, the Alumni body forms an academic network that promotes the academic spirit and life-long learning.

Aims of the University of Tampere Alumni:

• To create a contact network and increase interaction between the alumni and the university.
• To promote good relations between the university and the rest of society. This includes striving to maintain and further improve the positive public image of the university.
• To support the development of business contacts.
• To find financial and other support for teaching and research carried out at the university.
• To advance the post-graduate and further training opportunities of the alumni and to maintain its contacts with the scientific community.
• To enhance students' direct contacts with working life and thus contribute to their employment prospects after graduation.

The members of the University of Tampere Alumni are informed about current activities at the University of Tampere. Special events, lectures and trips are also arranged for the members.

The university offers a variety of high-quality products, which are ideal for gifts or for your own use. The proceeds are used for the improvement of teaching and studying.

Students and employees at the University of Tampere are welcome to join the University of Tampere Alumni. To join, fill in the registration form. The annual fee is 25 eur.
